A legacy built on apprenticeship

Our founders, Paul Stephenson and Michael Neale first met at Redcar Technical College in 1984 while serving apprenticeships for different companies. Having started their own careers this way, they fully understand the importance of training, mentoring and providing opportunities for young talent to grow. 

From apprentices to industry leaders

Over the years PJS Brickwork has supported numerous apprentices who have gone on to build successful careers within the industry. In July 2021 after many years with PJS, two former apprentices Luke Raynor and Simon Haley, decided to establish their own local brickwork company L&S Brickwork North East Ltd. A milestone we are extremely proud of. We continue to maintain a positive working relationship with them and collaborate on projects from time to time.

Our dedication to developing future talent is further strengthened through our apprenticeship partnerships with Robertson Homes and Wilmott Dixon, ensuring that apprentices receive valuable, hands-on experience across a range of live construction projects while maintaining the high standards PJS is known for.
