PJS Brickwork Ltd was formed as a partnership more than twenty years ago by Michael Neale and Paul Stephenson when they transitioned from a Bricklaying squad to a Sub-Contractor employing squads of Bricklayers around the North East.

PJS Brickwork Ltd will be Celebrating their 25 Year Anniversary of trading in October 2023.

In 1998 PJS Brickwork became a limited company and its core business was consolidated into the commercial construction industry and in recent years branched out into the Private and Public Housing sector.

We have grown continuously from 1998 to the present day and are now established as one of the leading brickwork contractors in the North East of England employing up to one hundred members of Staff and Subcontractors, in addition to the masonry we are capable of Sub-Contracting out the Scaffold Package as well, allowing PJS to be completely selfsufficient when carrying out a masonry sub-contract package.

Although we are based within the North East with the Majority of our projects being completed in this area, we have the capacity to travel further afield to carry out projects some of which being Leeds, Manchester, Otley, Berwick-upon-Tweed and even as far as Aberdeen.

We are established on a large number of main contractor’s supply chains including the likes of GMI Construction, Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd, Tilbury Douglas, Avant, Gleeson, Robertson Homes & Commercial and Adlington Homes to name a few.

We have a core workforce that allows us to continually win local work and provide Contractors with the quality they require, as work increases and decreases as it regularly does in construction, we can fluctuate in labour level like all solid based companies can, allowing PJS to take on larger projects and a higher quantity of projects at the same time, along with undertaking the smaller projects built in and around the larger ones.

PJS as a company have an excellent record with regards to Health & Safety and Environment, this is due to not just relying on our external H&S Advisors and consultants, but having our own members of staff trained in IOSH Managing Safely to help advise and report on our current sites on a regular basis.
